Praxis Sparkling Riesling 2024
Refreshing and moreish from the pretty, subtly fruited nose (suggestions of cardamom and some nutty brioche, too) onward. The palate is full, with a fine mousse and plenty of tingling fizz throughout, carrying green apple and tart stonefruit. A great accompaniment to something savoury—perfect for kicking off pre-dinner drinks.
Praxis Chardonnay Musqué 2024
This vintage is a little lighter on muscat notes than previous years, but they’re still pleasingly present: ripe tropical fruit and baked goods play nicely with vanilla and rosewater on the nose. The palate is deep, juicy and Chardonnay-driven—green apple and nashi pear meet oodles of citrus (mandarin, lime zest, ruby grapefruit). Ample fruit character continues through the finish as the acid gently lifts.
Praxis Pinot noir 2023
From the lively, fruit-driven nose onward, this is a delightful wash of fresh summer berries, cherries and spice. A bit of herbaceousness and a toasted nuttiness round out the nose, while the palate boasts blueberry, pomegranate and a hint of umami in a pleasingly tight structure that opens and softens towards the back. Could even serve it chilled, if you’re feeling frisky.
